| Well, It's almost the end of 2008. How is everyone? How has the year treated you ? I hope everyone trying to stay afloat in the current financial tsunami will keep their heads up and avoid thinking foolishly. There's always an opposite to the sadness, dispair, failure, etc. Look to the brighter future and walk towards it regardless of the outcome. Having this determnination will allow yourself no regrets no matter what happens. You tried your best and didn't hide and avoid reality in times of crisis and need. Everything is changing and has changed ever since the Lehman failure, ever since the beginning. People lost jobs, companies bankrupted, families destroyed, separated or held closer together in times when assistanceis needed. I've seen the good side and bad side of this current crisis in the past few months. I've seen stores that I uses to visit when I was a toddler closed down. However, I've also seen other stores startup in their stead. I've heard of factories closed down. However, I've also heard of factories banding together to help each other ride the storm. What can we do? This is survival of the fittest. May the stronger survive and the weak perish. The only chance we have is to band together and use all our resouces to assist one another. Let's put aside our petty differences and give each other a helping hand. I recently went to Hokkaido, Japan. I've noticed how the people their are constantly smiling are very courteous and polite. Seeing the shopkeepers smile will make yourself smile with them and forget whatever problems you may have for that split second. Everyone has problems. However, if we all smile and attempt to cheer each other up regardless of whether we know one another everyone will have a more positive, brighter day with less burden on our minds. Maybe this will reciprocate and passed on. Eeveryone will benefit from a smile. -Kevin |

| Today is the Exact day of the Mid-Autumn Festival. A few of us went to Victoria Park in Hong kong Island to eat at a nasty Victoria Park Public Pool Hong Kong Brazilian BBQ. We expected the scenery to be with a lotta girls, however all we saw were little 'tweens and senior cirizens. However at least we get to eat the meat we want. Afterwards we went into the park to observe the festive environment. There were a few propped up lanterns and peoples carrying Flashtorched lantern. However, I noticed we werethe only few using candle lit lanterns. We got thirst and brought a few litres of coke and a bottle of Jack Daniels. sitting by the bench in the park we loitered until approximately 4AM in the morning. Here's a silly pre-departure group pictures. One person almost got caught for burning a roach. guess who that was!!

Yesterday was also the 49th day after the passing of my Grandma. |

| Watching the live Opening Ceremony from Hong Kong was beautiful and spectacular. London 2012 XXX and on will be hard to follow. The opening shows the history, culture, manpower and unity of the country and nation. Go China, Go Hong Kong!! Win all the golds. I wonder how the closing ceremony will be.... |
